Metamorphoses

The Lodge Metamorphoses is a St. John’s lodge for men and women. It affirms the principle of absolute freedom of conscience in the spirit of the Strasbourg Appeal of 1961. The work of the lodge is carried out for the progress of humanity — both through the members’ work upon themselves, in order to refine and ennoble their own being, and through contact with Freemasons of other lodges and obediences, in order, in the sense of the Old Charges, ‘to unite what is scattered.’

According to Benoît Mandelbrot, ‘bottomless wonders spring from simple rules repeated without end’; for this reason, we work in a very simple Schröder ritual.

We seek to meet one another with mutual respect and regard, and to support each other in the work on our respective rough ashlars.
